We Believe. . .

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

We Believe. . .

In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We Believe. . .

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

We Believe. . .

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

We Believe. . .

That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

We Believe. . .

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.

We Believe. . .

Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.

We Believe. . .

In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

We Believe. . .

In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.

In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

East Clover Church of God is a full gospel, evangelical church that began on September 3, 1995 as nine men and women devoted themselves to organizing a church in the Clover area of South Carolina.
During the spring of 1995 we rented a former church building for $800.00 a month. It took a little time and effort to update the 2500 sq. ft. building before moving into it.
On September 3, 1995 the doors of the church opened with a full program: Sunday School, morning and evening worship and mid-week services to follow.
In 1998 we relocated to a larger building (6000 sq.ft.) in downtown Clover, SC.
On March 19, 2006 we moved into a brand new worship and educational facility (Phase One) on a 35 acre campus with a 3 acre outdoor fellowship arena we call "Vision Park." These beautiful properites are located in the heart of downtown Clover, South Carolina and is the largest track of land left in the town limits.
We are laboring toward "Phase Two" of our building project. Our design is for a 500 seat sanctuary, expanded educational facilities, and offices. Also, we are presently considering day care, grade school, and senior care ministry with seperate operational buildings.
Today, twelve years later, the church still continues. We consider our mission young, but we are strong, thriving, and zealous. To God be the Glory!
